The people at Dufresnes are some of the most helpful and ethical professionals I've had the pleasure of interacting with. I recently had a problem where Beaverton Honda was screwing with me on my low mileage car just one month out of warranty. I brought my car to DuFresne's to do the work, since I was really angry at Beaverton Honda. Mike, rather than taking on the job, thought it was really poor form on Honda's part and took it upon himself to call his contacts at Honda for me to try to get them to cover the work (at the dealership). He went out of his way, made several calls, checked in with me over several weeks, and advised me on how to proceed all to NOT have me pay them to do work on my car. They did this because they thought it was the right thing to do. I will absolutely continue to go to Dufresne's for everything auto related (sans body work, which they don't do). This was my first experience at Du Fresne’s and will definitely go back. I started having an odd sound when I started my car and thought it might be the transmission. Marco (mechanic) quickly diagnosed the problem as the water pump. It was fixed in the promised time and my car was vacuumed clean which was a bonus.

Went there to have bushings replaced quoted $50 for 2 damaged bushings and tried to charge me $130 and bent one of my Control arms. Will not be returning. Edit: What Corolla? The parts where for an impreza and you should read the full text before you reply. I had spent 2 hour readjusting the arm and bushing get it to even fit on the car. I said WAS QUOTED $50, yes, I did pay $100s but before seeing the horrible work, I need the arms and honor doesn't seem to be your businesses strong suit. Having seen and installed the arms, I wouldn't have paid that. Being a mechanic doesn't mean you know cars I've spoken with many a dealers and been told this or that by mechanics that doesn't mean they know what's wrong or how to fix it. Why pay dealer prices for not dealer work. Also Corollas not mine and I NEVER TOLD YOU WHAT CAR OR WHERE I WAS FROM IT NOT YOUR BUSINESS. If you asked I would have told you and may have had a more positive opinion of you, but I don't like snakes.

Let me say, we always guarantee our work. With that said, he paid $100.00, $50.00 per side, not $130.00. This car is a 1984 Toyota Corolla. He brought us aftermarket bushings and his control arms. A certified mechanic of many years did the bushings. I am sorry he is unhappy.
