Charged me $250 to diagnose a check engine light - when I had already given them the code from an ODB2 Scanner and told them exactly what the issue was (an ongoing issue I’ve been unable to make the time to fix myself). No explanation on the price point of that diagnosis either, just a “$50-350” estimate range (PER ISSUE) they charge for diagnosis. Apparently labor rates “vary based on service” but are also hourly as well? Never in 30 years of car maintenance have I run into something like that. This place is an absolute rip off and I will not be back. Edit - picked my vehicle up today. I was charged over $90 for a $24 part (from Napa, where they told me they ordered it from). They did a test I DID NOT ASK FOR and charged me $200+ for that diagnostic. The response from them about “zip codes” vs “address” is an absolute farce. Never have I EVER been charged diagnostic fees like I was here; I’ve spoken to a dozen people and four other shops this week who were all just as blown away as I was. I understand markup for making money, but the unapologetic attitude surround their exorbitant prices is atrocious. I cannot state clearly enough this is NOT the place to trust with your vehicle.

I could not be happier with the service I received on my 2019 Mercedes C300 from DuFresne's Auto Service. Not only did they do a superlative job, but it came in UNDER budget!! I mean, who does that?? Oh, and I was even given a loaner car so that I could get on with my day!! These are people of integrity and wouldn't hesitate to use them again- you should as well.

My late dad used Dufresnes which made me start using them..I was impressed at how nice they were to him! Always great & friendly service! It's so nice to have a repair shop close by, within walking distance! Marco has provided excellent service to my car.. goes out of his way to ensure it is working properly...very appreciated! All the staff is friendly to the customers!

Replaced clutch. Very fast and the truck runs really well now. This is where I take my vehicles because they are very professional and courteous.

I had my truck towed here after a nightmarish time on Hwy 26. It had been a dreadful morning and the service I received as I walked in the door was so welcoming and empathic to my situation. I left it there figuring it would take days, if not a week. The next day I got a call and images of the issue AND that my truck was ready for pick up. Preston explained the problem(s) and their remedy and assured me the truck was ready to go. And if that wasn't enough; AWESOME customer service and speedy turnaround, the bill was more than palatable. I meant what I said when I left, "If I ever need service again, you are my go to!" Thank you Bridgette, Preston and team.

Great service! I made an appointment for an engine issue. They did a great job passing me what the problems was, both in plan language and what error codes my car’s computer was telling. Reasonable price, and finished the work promptly. They called a few days later to ensure everything was still good. I will be taking any figure issues back here!!! Glad to find a good auto shop.

This place is always a class act. Honest, courteous, and knowledgeable, they will go above and beyond to keep your vehicle in tip-top shape. Can't say enough good things about them!

Always take good care of family’s cars: good rates, friendly and efficient service. Added bonus is that they vacuumed my black car interior (and found a hair tie!) I am always vacuuming the inside due to leaves from my work parking spot and cat hair from my house. It was one less chore!

DuFresne's is the best. I'm so lucky to have them so close to my house. It's such a breath of fresh air to deal with straightforward and honest businesspeople who provide good service at fair prices.
