Took my car in because of a slow start, left with no solution and charged $160 for that. Of course, I understand labor costs money, but Preston told me on the phone his guys worked on my car for one hour in total. $160/hour with no solution. Also- lied in the report, my engine is still not starting normally.

Jen, I am sorry you are disappointed with us. I understand we kept it 2 days to see if we could get it to shows us the problem. Usually, it is caused by fuel pressure, dropping over night, not so this time. As you can see by her work order, we quoted $150-$250. The technician found no fault codes, Adaptive fuel trim remains within +/-6%, Low side fuel pressure measures 80 psi at idle and 70 psi with engine off. Engine continues to start normally. This is also our nightmare when we can't solve our customers problem. All testing takes time

I'm so glad I contacted DuFresne's. I had taken my Durango to the dealership for what seemed like a bad starter, I got an assessment that just didn't line up. Preston at Du Fresne''s was willing to look at the images of the issue and give advice while the vehicle was still at the dealership. In the end it became quite clear that the repairs recommended by the dealership were not required. I had my vehicle towed to Du Fresne's and was very happy with the service, the attention to detail and the transparency. So happy to have found the shop I will go to for all future repairs.

I was looking for an alternative auto repair company in lieu of a Ford dealer so I gave them a try. They took the replacement parts I had previously sourced and made the repairs within a week. The repair was replacing both exhaust manifolds on a F-150 truck and it was a challenge for anyone. Preston understood what was needed and he had his mechanic do the work to my satisfaction. I would recommend them to others that need repair work accomplished.
