In over 30 years of car ownership I have never been so pleased with the service provided me as I was upon visiting Du Fresne's Automotive. A family member recommend Du Fresne's when the learned that I was due for maintenance. I went in and talked to Steve and explained the services I needed performed. He took my e-mail address and within a few hours mailed me a detailed quote. The rates were very reasonable and the quote was nicely detailed which made me confident that all my concerns where being addressed. I was able to make an appointment to have the work done quickly and only had to be without my car for a little over a day, even though I asked them to address a lot more then what was on the original quote. When I picked up my car I was very pleased at the difference in performance.The other part of the experience I relished was the kind and attentive staff, willing to answer questions in detail and go the extra mile to please their customers. Du Fresne's has a customer for life in me now. In fact from what I understand from my family member whom recommended them that is a common theme, once you experience the top notch service Du Frese's offers you really don't see any point in looking any further.

Best customer service...mechanics, ever! Been having them take care of my two vehicles for over 6 years and they are by far the best car care facility that I have experienced in my 63 years.

We have been taking our cars to Du Frense since before I could walk. It's a little family owned shop that does great work on cars. The owner Nancy is truly an unpleasant person to deal with and always has been, but Steve and Marco are always so nice and helpful and take the time to explain certain issues if you don't understand. They are a little bit more expensive then some other shops around town, but if you take your car in for an oil change they will do a once over of your car to let you know if there is any potential problems. If there are a few things that are wrong and you are on a budget (as most of us are), just ask Steve what can wait and what needs to be done now and he will give you his honest feedback, as will Marco. I've had my car in there so many times it's not even funny, and have always had a great experience. They do great work on Hondas as one of the mechanics is specialized in working on them. They also have a monthly news letter, a customer of the month special, coffee and snacks you can purchase when you go in and basic convenient store items. We take all our cars there and love them. Also they vacuum out your car at the end of every service and always use plastic floor protecting sheets. So if you decide to take your cars there, here's my advice to you. If Nancy answers the phone, as for Steve or Marco and save yourself the trouble of dealing with her. If you do that you should have a pleasant experience.

Great service!

Very refreshing after being used to going to dealerships. Very nice to talk to, didn't feel like they were trying to sell me anything, didn't waste my time, and still cheaper than the dealership. From that one experience, it's the sort of business you want in your neighborhood, hopefully next time I need to go back it will be just as good.
