I was a loyal customer at Du Fresnes for close to 3 years. After many services and thousands of dollars spent at this shop, I had a recent experience that left me feeling completely shocked and disrespected. The shop performed a faulty install of my front wheel bearing that caused me to be broken down on the side on the I-5 during rush hour. After getting towed back to their shop and being assured that I’d be reimbursed for the expenses, the office manager, Nancy, refused to reimburse my full towing charge. To top it off she was extremely rude and condescending in her handling of the situation. It’s disappointing to receive this treatment after the support and loyalty I’ve shown. I will not be returning to a business that doesn’t respect their customer, ESPECIALLY when it was their error! Note: I attempted to resolve this matter privately with the shop, however no one responded to my emails.
I am the owner, Nancy Scheewe, I responded to her request. I told her I would refund her a check for the tow she had done. I just needed the receipt from the company. She never sent me a receipt.
